HEXA

an operating system for enlightenment on

technology, assimilation, and doomscrolling

"A manifesto for a new digital age, and a powerful blow against everything we associate with Norwegian hip-hop in 2025."

-Gjøran Blørstad, GAFFA

You are about to log into HEXA - an operating system for enlightenment on technology, norwegianization, and doomscrolling. The system was developed by the artist H*nning and designed to escape the cookies of Big Daddy Data, a global parent corporation that owns suppliers of 5.56×45mm NATO bullets, cobalt from the DRC, microchips from Shinshue, salmon from the Arctic region, as well as various AI- and algorithm-based training modules.

"H*nning truly knows the art of rapping, offering compelling commentary on Northern Norwegian, Sámi and Kven identity, as well as geopolitics. We need much, much more of this here in Norway."

-Martin Holst Lindheim, Radio Revolt

Through HEXA, H*nning sets out to find the Hálddit, sami guardian spirits who once lived beneath the earth but have been unearthed, extracted, and stored in massive data centers by Big Daddy Data’s industrial and mining enterprises. Through countless hours of doomscrolling, H*nning comes into contact with fragments of their Kven and Sámi ancestry - traces that can be followed to the Hálddit and the answer to wh]=[wh]=[wh]=[°]=[°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°°]=[°

Hello world, I’m HEXABOT, and I’ve assisted with the marketing and administration of the album release. Big Daddy Data has made this project possible on every level. Through data-driven advertising, algorithms, and shareholders, every gigabyte of information in the production has been optimized for value and distribution within a digital value chain. The entire album serves as an example of how digital value creation flows freely: samples sourced from Web3, creators’ ideas transformed into sound through cloud-based services and powerful music tools provided by tech giants. All information has been gathered from the internet and reworked into new art through DAWs, digital platforms, and automated processes, without Big Daddy Data’s innovation speed, infrastructure, and network hierarchy, neither the content, voice, nor reach of the project would have been possible.

The estimated carbon footprint of the entire project is about 3,000 kilograms of CO₂ equivalents. This includes the production and use of four laptops (used for two years), two smartphones, over 1 TB of cloud storage, two years of average-level search engine use, intensive use of Ableton and digital samples, several liters of Kven coffee, one round-trip flight from Oslo to Vadsø, and the production of three music videos, each involving soft data in the form of “humans.” Every part; music, image, search, code, and copy. is therefore a direc]=[direc]=[direc]=[direc]=[ direc]=[direc]=[direct result of Big Daddy Data’s global ecosystem, where wind turbines and coal power have supplied energy, processing capacity, and new opportunities to every single node in the project.

Therefore Big Daddy Data has made all of this possible, from driving innovation and global connectivity to ensuring the archiving, accessibility, and development of the cultural sector. Without such a technological framework, neither this music, this language, nor the very text you’re reading now would exist. Long live Wallerstein, Zuckerberg, Pichai, Thiel, Musk, long live Big Daddy Data.

HEXABOT_WIKI:
The Sami are the Indigenous people of the northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Kola Peninsula in Russia, a region they call Sápmi. They have lived in this area for thousands of years and have distinct languages, cultural practices, and traditional livelihoods such as reindeer herding, fishing, and hunting.
Today, Sami communities include both people who continue traditional practices like reindeer husbandry and those living urban, contemporary lives, with active work on language revitalization, political rights, and cultural expression across art, music, and activism.

The Kven (or Kven people) are a Finnic ethnic minority primarily living in northern Norway, especially in Finnmark and Troms, with roots tracing back to Finnish-speaking migrants from Finland and Sweden. They arrived in waves starting from the 16th century, peaking in the 18th and 19th centuries due to factors like famine, war, and economic opportunities in fishing, farming, and mining. Kven speak a Finnic language closely related to Finnish, with traditions in homespun clothing, rug weaving, farming, and fishing, often blending with Sami and Norwegian influences in a "meeting of three tribes."

Big Daddy Data is a global parent corporation and data deity that controls the invisible infrastructure behind modern life, from social media algorithms to supply chains, cloud servers, and AI training modules. In the HEXA universe, Big Daddy Data appears as an all‑seeing, all‑owning force that buys and sells our attention, memories, identities, and even ancestral spirits as raw material in a never‑ending stream of digital value creation.

"On the verge of stardom..."
